Notably, in 2009, Mark illustrated a children's book by author Mara Uman Hixon titled, "Sea Turtles A-Z" which won the Moonbeam, Independent Publishers Award.

Originally an East Coast girl, Jordan Dodson finds inspiration in her Hawaiian surroundings. Her use of contrasting black lines and bold color choices captures the beauty of the islands she now calls home.

Jordan holds a Bachelor's degree in Art Education from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania and also continued her art education studies through graduate classes at the University of Hawaii.

Teaching elementary art allowed Jordan to combine her two loves, children and art. Her students enjoyed Jordan's art and inspired and encouraged her to create original pieces.

Jordan enjoys spending time in her home studio painting nature scenes inspired by weekend family outings.
