2004 Hale'iwa Arts Festival
Festival Poster Artist Adriano Ferraz's "The Carver"
The Hale'iwa Arts Festival has the privileged opportunity to present the works of two very talented artists for the ArtFest 2004 limited edition poster and for this year's shirt design!
Adriano Ferraz, a North Shore painter and sculptor, and long time supporter of the Hale'iwa Arts Festival, has donated the use of his oil on canvas painting, entitled "The Carver", for our poster. Bring your poster to Adriano in Booth 36 and have it signed by the artist. "The Carver" truly represents Adriano and his business, Marmol Hawaii, which sells stone for sculptors and home interior applications.
Rick Kealoha Pa, a Maui artist who specializes in Batik painting on wood, offers his floral piece, "Heliconia Tropix", as the striking image for our shirts. Visit Kealoha's Booth 34 and check out his beautiful and functional art. Be sure to check his website (www.studiokealoha.com) and discover even more stunning examples and applications of his wood batik process.
