Visual artists who wish to participate in the Hale'iwa Arts Festival submit a detailed application and photos or slides of their original works or limited editions. Their slides and photos are then presented anonymously to our Jury for review and are rated solely on artistic merit. Our two-tiered selection process consists of, first: the Jury's initial review and recommendations, and second: the Exhibition Committee's concurrence with, and acceptance of the Jury's opinions. The Exhibition Committee's responsibility is to incorporate the Jury's recommendations, to facilitate and review applicants' submissions while developing an appropriate and varied event, and to maintain the character and integrity of the Hale'iwa Arts Festival's artistic guidelines. The Hale'iwa Arts Festival Board of Directors Art and Exhibition Committees determine all qualifying exhibitors. Original art and limited editions in all media are considered.
